This does indeed feel like a nightmare. Very evocative! I also love this line in your introduction beneath your header photograph (which is lovely): "there are angels in the spray, wizards in the palm trees, and elves in the seashells." Vivid images. I can see and feel the place! Ann Best, Author of In the Mirror, A Memoir of Shattered Secrets
I liked that. It felt like if I was stuck in a paranormal nightmare. :)

Oh my - a brilliant description of a nightmare!
ReplyDeleteSweet dreams!
Laila: Now I just have to figure out how I am going to work it into the spot I am working on!
ReplyDeleteAnn: Thanks. I think there is something frightening about meeting the younger self which is what this really is- more so than a nightmare.
Talei: Hope the weather is delight and the words flow from your fingertips, mi buen amigo!
(sitting here with a glass as I type) *clink, clink*
Lady Fi: Dreams creep into reality sometimes, yes?
A waking nightmare? Intriguing.
ReplyDeleteGirl, you paint a heck of a picture with words.
ReplyDeleteThere'll be a nightlight tonight.
