My pets

I used to always have a dog. The list of their names is quite long but I think I could remember most of their names although I won't bore you with that now. The landlord of the house I live in doesn't allow pets which is probably best at this point in my busy life...

but he can't really do much about these cuties!

    1. Too cute, right? There are three and they love to bask on our lawn (and the neighbors!) in the evening.

  2. Those are the types of pets I have now.....a little birdfeed out back, some peanuts for the squirrels and that's all the care they need. Gotta love it.

    1. It's quite nice. I enjoy the spring so much with all the birds and now the bunnies around.

  3. Our cats probably scare off any of the bunnies that inhabit our neighborhood. We have, on occasion, played host to deer and raccoons though. I love it when real wildlife makes an appearance and reminds us that we aren't the only ones on this earth.

    1. I love finding wildlife in our walks or when I am driving. Not too long ago, we spotted a Coyote on a favorite walk but I wasn't able to get a picture of him.

  4. Ah yes, Oscar tries to chase the wild hares now and then, but they always win...

    1. Knowing what a gentle nature your Oscar seems to have, I bet he lets them win.

  5. How cute. We have a little bunny in the neighborhood that hangs out with the cats.

  6. Bunnies feel really strange when you pick them up. They aren't solid like a dog or cat and the ribcage rolls under the skin. I get kind of creeped out picking up a bunny. I just doesn't feel right and is way too squishy in places that should be more bony.

  7. I remember all my pets too, Danette! Growing up, I had a collie named Lady that I absolutely adored. Unfortunately we discovered after we got her that I was allergic to most animals. I refused to give her up and spent 10 years, sneezing. :) I still think about Lady. She was such a love.

    1. My daughter had a sheltie named Lady-- a small breed of Collie. They are beautiful dogs- small or large. And have lovely temperaments although they can occasionally be too shy. We still think about our Lady too!

  8. They're so sweet! I used to keep rabbits as pets when I was a little girl. :-)

    1. We had a pet rabbit-- however, I decided I didn't really like them inside and it turned out that I am really allergic to them so having them in the yard is delightful.
