It's almost mid May! This snow needs to vamoose!!!
Looking at the
average temps for Denver this morning, it's not that it's unusual for
Denver to get the last frost in May. But the average last frost is April
28 and for the last 10 years more of those days are falling later and
later. Weather is definitely chaotic here!
I'm sorry folks, get on board
with climate change. Even Shell Oil, BP and the other oil companies
admit it's real, they're just planning on profiting on the misery of
those who can't protect themselves.
DANETTE!
ReplyDeleteI'm CRINGING!!!! HOW AWEFUL! And I complaining about our weather in Chicago which is ranging from 50-80! IT is NUTS.... One day shorts the next winter coats. BUT thank GOD there is no snow. I would totally wig out if I see snow now!
WISHING you sunshine and warm temps!
It's supposed to get to 50 today Michael! I HOPE that's true. We'll wait and see. It is sunny!!
DeleteUgh, I almost know how you feel - we had a late snow (not to mention a late spring - and it sucked!
ReplyDeleteIt does suck! I want to enjoy the sunshine and warm weather. Hopefully by weekend!
DeleteAnd that's a lot of snow for May! The climate change is most definitely real!
ReplyDeleteI was surprised when I was looking over the stats that we have gotten as much as 7 inches- but it normally melts as soon as it falls. This time it stuck around which I thought was extra weird. I just think all bets are off with weather!
DeleteWow, that's quite shocking....even to me here in Finland :) Hope it melts away soon and the summer will be hot, hot, hot !
ReplyDeleteI am afraid you may be right Zella. We get a lot of extremes around here in our semi-arid Climate as you can see. So a hot, hot, hot (and probably dry!) summer seems to around the corner.
DeleteThat is surreal. Especially as we are in the eighties and very humid today.
ReplyDeleteClimate Change Deniers are destroying the earth. It's that simple. I just hope we aren't too late. Neil DeGrasse Tyson spelled it out on Cosmos. What we are seeing happened before and 9 out of 10 species on Earth went extinct.
ReplyDeleteThere is no way to stop the changes now, and they can deny all they want but we are all about to be fleeced once again, as change is of benefit only to the Oligarchs. We fear change but they bank on it. I keep thinking of Neville Shute's On The Beach as the way to face extinction with dignity.
